KLAUDIJA ROSI (Italy) the Italian flutist, Claudia Rosi was born in Correggio in northern Italy. Her musical education began at the Conservatory Arrigo Boito in Parma in the class of maestro Mario Carmignani, while in 1974 she completed flute studies at the Conservatory of Music Domenico Cimarosa in Avellino.
As a newly graduated flutist, thanks to her extraordinary talent and artistic successes, began her teaching career at the Department of flute at the Conservatory of Music in Mantua 1976, where she had worked until 1982. Then, in 1983, she began her work at the music Conservatory Arrigo Boito in Parma as a full professor.
During her work she has collaborated with various chamber ensembles and philharmonic orchestras (Karp, Mantua), or as a soloist and a chamber musician. Later, she has started improving the piccolo. She was the absolute winner of the National Examination Symphony Orchestra A. Toscanini, thanks to which she had a significant role during successful years with the orchestra. The headquarters of the orchestra is at the Theatre Teatro Regio in Parma, whose audience is among the lovers of lyric opera. During her career she has worked with renowned conductors (such as Sudan, N. Bellucci, Peter Mag, Delman), and with the greatest of Italian opera scene (L. Pavarotti, K. Ricciarelli, H. Carreras, R. Bruson and many others). With the above-mentioned orchestra, she has performed in major Italian opera houses, theaters as well as in other world-renowned countries. These productions are preserved in various compact discs, or DVD recordings.
She has achieved significant results in her pedagogical work. Her students participate with great success at domestic and national competitions, hearings, but they are also successful orchestral musicians and educators worldwide.
