
Marija Pilipović
Flute
Marija Pilipovic, obtained her Undergraduate and Master’s degree in Banja Luka, in the class of prof. Laura Levai – Aksin. PhD degree finished in Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
As a student of the Music Academy in Banja Luka she was a part of a joint Academies of Belgrade, Kragujevac, Podgorica symphony orchestra, and participated in the recording of several CDs . She represented The Academy of Arts in Banja Luka regularly and performed in concerts throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries (Festival “Sarajevo Winter” Sarajevo, Kolarac Gallery, Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade, “Mokranjac Days” and ” Mokranjac followers ” in Negotinu. She participated and won prizes in national and international competitions.
She has given numerous solo recitals and as a member of chamber ensembles and in Austria, Italia, France, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosna and Hercegovina and many others. She is an active participant in seminars in Graz, Belgrade, Dubrovnik, Novi Sad , Banja Luka ( Kremena Aceva, Dieter Fluri, Laura Levai – Aksin, Matej Zupan).
She also represent artist from BiH in Residential program in Slovenia, in organization Forum of slavic culture, where was performed the premiere composition for solo flute, composed on the occasion of her participation in the program. In 2018, she recorded a CD under the title “Fonome” with the mentioned compositions.
She is a member of the organizing committee of the “Banja Luka Flute Days”, which for 7 years has been gathering many eminent artists, students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the region. She held numerous lectures and workshops as a lecturer of extended techniques for flute and literature with the aim of popularizing contemporary music.
She has been working at Academy of Arts in Banja Luka – Chamber music since 2014.
